How is a forwarding account created or managed?
We only create “clean” accounts on GET-RATES. This means that only users can be established on a location that is also based or active there. You can assign the individual users to specific traffic carriers so that the e-mail notification can be sent appropriately when customer requests arrive.
In the BUSINESS configuration, you can assign a postal code range (usually the sales area of the site) to each location. With this postal code assignment, GET-RATES automatically directs the customer inquiries to the responsible branch office. But there are also other ways to direct customer requests specifically to specific locations – please contact us!
Can we control which employees receive specific customer requests?
Yes, you can define your user structure by traffic. This allows you to determine the employee’s customer inquiries only for certain modes of transport (eg, only ocean freight export requests) and other employee requests for other modes of transport. This allows you to control the arriving customer requests directly to the relevant departments in your company.
Are there any additional costs for us besides the monthly usage fees?
No, there are no other costs.
What kind of inquiries do we receive?
You only receive customer inquiries that correspond to your saved transport profile. In your transport profile, you can define the geographical range via a postal code filter and also create country and weight forecasts in the truck area. Based on these parameters, you only receive customer requests that correspond to this profile.
What is automated follow-up?
As soon as a customer is closing a request, i.e. a transport-order is issued / canceled, you will receive a status message for your offer. This message can be an order division, or in the event of a negative notification, GET-RATES will tell you which percentage deviation window (BUSINESS configuration) your offer was for the selected offer. This information is also statistically evaluated for you.

How is our offer compared to other offers?
All offers are automatically evaluated for you and the customers of GET-RATES. The evaluation is carried out according to stored parameters and is strictly neutral and confidential. In the case of complex supply structures, the bid positions are automatically analyzed and objectively compared. This prevents us from comparing “apples and pears” (as we say in Germany)
Is our offer visible for the competition or will offer quotations be published?
No. All offers are kept confidential and are only visible to the customer. No stock exchange or auction functions are available!
Can customers place a request to countless forwarding companies?
No, a shipper can only place a request to a very restricted number of transport company. As a rule, between 4 and 8 freight forwarders are requested per request.
